Cooking and cost planning
Saffron brings distinctive colour and aroma to rice dishes, risotto, paella, fish, sauces, soups, desserts, pastries and drinks. Steep a measured quantity in a little warm water, stock or milk before adding it to the recipe.
The amount needed depends on the recipe, portion size and desired intensity. Test the saffron in your own recipes to establish a consistent quantity and cost per serving.
Storage and regular supply
Keep the tin tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from light. Follow the best-before date and storage instructions on the pack. For higher or ongoing requirements, explore our 100 g and 300 g packs or contact us about your supply needs.
