Each pack contains 40 g of loose-leaf tea, including 0.2 g of Afghan saffron: a saffron content of 0.5%. The blend contains caffeine and can be enjoyed hot or chilled.

Saffron with clear origins

The saffron used in Saffrona Golden comes directly from Afghanistan. Saffrona works with its own agricultural operations and selected women-led saffron farms in the Herat region, placing quality and traceable origins at the heart of its sourcing.

How to brew

For one cup of Saffrona Golden:

• Amount: 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf tea per cup
• Water temperature: 100°C
• Brewing time: 3–5 minutes

A shorter brewing time produces a milder cup. A longer infusion brings out the stronger character of the black tea. To enjoy it chilled, brew as directed, allow it to cool completely and serve over ice if desired.
