Why Saffrona?

Good saffron is supported by traceable origins and documented laboratory results.

Our saffron comes from family farms in Herat, Afghanistan, and is packed in Germany. Eurofins report AR-733-2025-00206306-02, dated 24 August 2026, documents the assessment of batch L2025-01.

Why does saffron testing matter?

Saffron is used directly in food, so colour strength alone does not tell the whole story.

Independent laboratory testing provides documented information about the parameters tested. Quality measurements and food-safety analyses should be read together with the report and its scope.
